Boluwatife Ajifolokun

ASSOCIATE

Boluwatife Ajifolokun is a Nigerian lawyer with a strong interest in litigation and developing expertise in labour and employment law, arbitration and emerging areas of legal practice.

He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2024 after obtaining his LL.B. from Lagos State University in 2022. He has experience handling various litigation matters, including legal research, drafting court processes and legal submissions, and supporting clients in dispute resolution.
Boluwatife is committed to building a versatile practice grounded in advocacy, dispute resolution and regulatory knowledge, with a focus on providing practical, commercially relevant and effective legal solutions to clients.

ADELEKE OLANIYI AGBOLA, SAN, FCArb.

PRINCIPAL PARTNER

Adeleke Agbola was admitted to the then University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1982 through JAMB. At Ife, he was active in the affairs of the Law Students Society and was at a time the Chairman of the audit committee of the Law Students’ Society.

On the academic front, Adeleke was a pioneer member of the Dean’s Brigade and a university scholar. He emerged as the best student in International Law in the 1986 graduating Class.

Adeleke Agbola was called to the Nigerian Bar on 22nd October 1987. At the Nigerian Law School, he won the following academic Awards:

i. Chief Richard Akinjide Prize in the Law of Evidence
ii. Hon. Justice Atanda Fatayi-Williams Prize in the Law of Evidence:
iii. Hon. Justice Jacob Sofolahan Prize in General Paper.

He did his National Youth Service at the Legal Department of First Bank of
Nigeria Limited at the Eastern Zonal Office, Okpara Avenue, Enugu, Nigeria.


He joined the law firm of Cheakley Chambers in 1988 and became the Principal Partner in 1996. He has been involved in all aspects of legal practice including litigation across every geographical spread of Nigeria in diverse areas of Civil & Commercial Law, matrimonial disputes, Intellectual Property Law, Arbitration, maritime, Criminal Defence and Appeals.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria, Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, Fellow, Institute of Voluntary Sector Management and Member, Lagos Court of Arbitration. He is a tutor in arbitration law and practice with the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and has served as arbitrator in many consequential arbitrations in Nigeria and overseas.

He served as a Member, Technical and Administrative Review Panel on
Domestic Airlines 2012 (established by the President of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria to restructure the airline industry following the crash of Dana Airline);
Member, Committee on Review of NCAA Act and All Bilateral Air Services Agreement, 2012, Assessor to the Nurses and Midwives Disciplinary Tribunal, 2006 (appointed by the Honourable Chief Justice of Nigeria) and Notary Public, 2012. He is a member of the Judicial Relations Committee of the Surulere Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association. He was the caretaker Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association, Surulere Branch and is a member of the Legislative Committee of BRIPAN. Adeleke is the Chairman of the Finance Sub-Committee of the Body of Senior Advocate of Nigeria and the President of the Great Ife Law 82/83 Alumni Class Association.

As President of the Great Ife Law 82/83 Alumni Class Association, Adeleke lead the Association in donating 2 giant sets of electric generators to the Law Faculty in 2016 and the repainting of the faculty building to ensure that the Faculty regained its accreditation status with the Council of Legal Education. The Association has also offered scholarships to more than 30 students from Year 2 to Year 5 covering tuition and monthly stipends. The Association has also donated books and money to the Faculty of Law,

Adeleke has endowed an academic prize for the best student in International Trade and Investment Law in the Faculty of Law, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He also endowed a prize for the best graduating student in Law at the Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo. He is also the recipient of Leadership Excellence Award of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti.


Adeleke was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2021.

Adeleke is the Balogun of St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Ere-Ijesa and the Chancellor, Diocese of Ijesa North (Anglican Communion).

He is married to his heartthrob Beatrice, and the marriage is blessed with 3 children.

Ademidun Ayomide Agbola

Ademidun , is a graduate of Lancaster University, Lancaster, United Kingdom where she obtained her LL.B (Hons) degree. She was called to the Nigerian Bar after obtaining her Barrister at Law (B.L) degree from the Nigerian Law School and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. Her keen interest areas include; Corporate and Commercial law transactions, hence obtaining her Masters of law (LL.M) in corporate law at Durham university, Durham. She also has interests in Intellectual Property Law, Entertainment law, Family Law, and Dispute Resolution. She is committed to team success and organizational growth through hard work and personal development.

SALAMI AGBAJE TAJUDEEN

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Mr. Salami Agbaje Tajudeen is a Second class Honors (Upper Division) graduate of the Law Faculty, Lagos State University. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus and was called to bar 2013.

Mr Salami Agbaje had his first degree from the University of Ibadan where he obtained B. A (Hons)in English Language.

A well-seasoned lawyer with over a decade experience in various areas of law ranging from commercial litigation , property law, and general civil litigation, with keen interest in press and media law which is evident in his acquiring a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. He is a published author of several articles and a book "JUSTICE FOR ALL – Perspectives on the Lagos state Citizens' Right Project (2005)".

BENSON OKEZIE WOSU, ESQ. (LL.M)

Benson Okezie Wosu, Esq. (LL.M) is a dedicated legal practitioner with a strong legal acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and unfettered commitment to the interest of clients. He graduated from Babcock University with 2nd Class Honours (Upper Division), where he also obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in 2024. Upon his call to the Nigerian Bar in 2022 (with 2nd Class Honours, Upper Division), he has since immersed himself into the four walls of active legal practice and dispute resolution.
His key practice areas include Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Real Estate Transactions/Land matters, Business Advisory Services, Contract Law, Debt Recovery, Fundamental Rights, Judicial Review, Banking law, with key interest in legal academia. He is very potent in Legal Documentation, Client Interview, Client Counselling, Legal Research and Analysis, Legal Drafting, Case Analysis and Advocacy during court proceedings.
He has been involved in matters at the Magistrates’ Court, State High Court, Federal High Court, National Industrial Court and the Court of Appeal. With his primary place of practice being Lagos State, legal practice has taken him outside jurisdiction to other parts of Nigeria such as Cross River State, Ogun State and Oyo State. This makes him fully abreast with the rules of the aforementioned courts as well as style of practice. In addition to litigation/handling proceedings in court, he is also involved in the representation of clients outside the courtroom. For instance, he has had to represent clients at the Citizen Mediation Centre/Citizen’s Right Centre under the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, the e?GIS and Urban Development Office under the Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, and several other meetings held both physically and virtually.
In addition to litigation, he has great interest in academics and loves teaching law or any field of study he is acquainted with. He loves to write and has several published works to his name, some of which he co-authored, and currently has other publications in works. In this light, he seeks to explore and fuse the field of academics and legal practice.
